Zydeco is a very energetic style of music originating from the Creole and African American communities in Southwest Louisiana.  It blends Creole, hip-hop, soul, and reggae with a blues influence.  Zydeco music is dominated by the button or piano accordion and a rub-board.  Zydeco is commonly referred to as the “Party Music”.

Throughout a recording career that has spanned more than 20 years, Jack Ingram has maintained a reputation for uncompromising, personally charged song craft and energetic, charismatic performances, earning him prominent stature in a prestigious tradition of iconoclastic singer-songwriters. Ingram’s prior work has won him a fiercely devoted fan base as well as reams of critical acclaim, and now Midnight Motel marks a creative milestone for the veteran artist, his sound ever evolving while showcasing some of his most expressive, emotionally raw songwriting to date.

Ingram made Midnight Motel independently to avoid outside influences and have creative freedom to write and record. “It was really important to me at this point in my life to avoid thinking about any commercial decisions about the music,” explains Ingram. “Every night after my kids went to bed, I’d go into my music room and stay in there until about three or four, just working out the songs like I did at the beginning of my career. Or while on the road, sit up late at night writing in motel rooms. I wanted to bring people into that space with me.”

Jimmie Dale Gilmore has been writing and playing songs for more than 50 years. His music eludes categorization, blending elements of folk, rock, country, blues and bluegrass.

His recordings have earned three Grammy nominations in both Contemporary Folk and Traditional Folk categories and he was named Country Artist of the Year three years running by Rolling Stone Magazine.

His high and lonesome vocal style, coupled with sometimes mystical and poetic lyrics, has led to musical brandings such as Sagebrush Soul, Zen Country and Western Beat. Along with Joe Ely and Butch Hancock, Gilmore’s legendary band The Flatlanders has been credited as fathers of the Alt-country movement.

Born in Amarillo, Gilmore’s musical roots began in Tulia, a small West Texas town where his father played lead guitar in a country band. When Gilmore was in grade school the family moved to Lubbock, known for being the starting point for a surprising number of musicians (including Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and Gilmore’s long-time friends Butch Hancock, Terry Allen and Joe Ely). Gilmore met Hancock when they were both 12, and they have been friends and frequent musical collaborators ever since.

Gilmore later met Allen, who he says inspired him to write his own songs. His friend Joe Ely introduced him to the music of Townes Van Zandt, and a few years later Gilmore, Ely and Hancock formed the Flatlanders. The group recorded its first album in Nashville in 1972. Defying categorization turns out not to be the way to start out in Nashville, so the album was released only on 8-track and not promoted. The band went their different ways by the end of that year.

WATUSI is the original, tropikal “World Beat Reggae” band in the USA, with players from around the world and based in Dallas, Texas.

Watusi is the premier artist on World Beatnik Records, and a Texas musical legend, respected and played worldwide, winners of numerous Reggae and World Music Awards including 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010 and 2009 Texas Music Awards for Reggae and nominated for the Roots Music Association “Reggae Artist of the Year” 2009Jimi Watusi is a world musician, producer, writer and composer.

He plays keyboards, vocals, and percussion. He also does all type of music like jazz, latin , caribbean, pop, rock, blue, R&B, New Orleans, swing, gospel, African, Hawaiian, etc.

He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Ed.

At that point, it was still unclear how the Dallas native would follow up his trio of critically acclaimed, interconnected albums, all of which were packed tight with character-driven songs that put multiple national-tours worth of crowds on the precipice of staining their shirts with either beers or tears, depending on the song.

The third of the trio, See You Next Time, led to Walker appearing on The Tonight Show and CBS Saturday Morning, brought with it performances at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and Gruene Hall in Texas, landed him on Rolling Stone’s “Best of 2021” list, and prompted SPIN to call him “one of country’s most exciting storytellers.”

Those stories about dive bar dwellers running out of last chances made listeners feel a gauntlet of emotions. What Is It Even?, a 11-track cover album consisting of songs made famous by female pop acts, produced with John Pedigo and arranged alongside his touring band of Pendergrass, bassist Billy Bones, and pedal-steel player Adam Kurtz, was born out of wanting to make people feel joy.

“I just wanted to make something that was fun,” Walker says.

Jesse Jennings, originally from Dublin, Texas, and Crowley, Texas, is a singer, songwriter and musician based in Fort Worth. His debut album, “A Long Way Froom Home”, released in August 2014 and features thirteen tracks written and produced by Jesse. His lyrics are true reflections of his personal experiences: love, loss, heartache, small town life, life on the road and more.

Jesse’s music and stylization are influenced by artists he admires such as Waylon Jennings, Bob Seger, Garth Brooks, Dion Dimucci and Elvis Presley. When people ask what his music sounds like, Jesse can only respond with “nothing you have ever heard.” It’s country with a twist!

Jesse ‘cut his teeth’ in the music industry performing and touring with The Casey Donahew Band. He has had the pleasure of opening for acts such as Willie Nelson, Jason Aldean, Casey Donahew, Pat Green, The Josh Abbott Band and The  Eli Young Band. His harmonic voice can be heard on albums including Casey Donahew, Aaron Copeland, Jamie Richards and more.

In 2013, he was crowned the winner of the DFW Talent Search and was awarded a recording contract with Legend Records of Fort Worth, Texas from which came “A Long Way From Home”.

Though born in Dallas, Jerry Audley was raised all over central Texas due to his family’s frequent moves. He currently resides in Anna, Texas with his wife of fifteen years. Jerry has had a great love for music his entire life. He frequently sang in church programs and preformed in school plays and musicals when he was a young boy. He performed in Rock N’ Roll bands as a teenager and into his early twenties.

He toured the country with his own band, who released two albums on Anchor Records. Jerry produced a video that aired on MTV and took 2nd place singing in the GMC National Talent Competition. “It was a great feeling being acknowledged for what I love doing,” he says. Jerry demonstrated considerable promotional savvy when he hooked up with Pro Wrestler Cary VonEric for commercials touting his headline appearance at Reunion Arena in Dallas.

JAZZ dolce is a talented and gifted jazz trio. Jazz is characterized by swing and blue notes, complex chords, call and response vocals, polyrhythms and improvisation.

While impressive, all those distinctions can come and go in the world of music. The reason for his staying power turns out to be quite a simple one. With roots in classic country, and a fusion of Americana, blues, and vintage rock & roll – Jade is the perfect hybrid of what everyone loves and brings a soulful sound to every set.

You may recognize her from her American Idol days or from other local music scenes. Jade is definitely an artist you don’t want to miss!

Jenny James has been teaching piano and chord chart reading in the DFW area since 2006. She enjoys teaching musicians of all ages, children and adults, in private and group settings. She is a former classroom teacher and currently serves as the Music Director and Pianist at Valley Creek Lewisville. She is also the owner of the Legacy Music Studio right here, in Lewisville!

Upon moving to the U.S. in 2010, Jessica’s country music career took off like a shot, buoyed by her vocal and songwriting talents, infectious stage presence, and exceptional work ethic. She has opened for stars like Dustin Lynch, Diamond Rio, Keith Anderson, Trace Adkins, Sawyer Brown, and Jeff Foxworthy, featured at festivals alongside Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, and Little Big Town, and graced legendary stages like the Gorge Amphitheater and Seattle’s Triple Door theater. Her first Nashville album, Catch Me If You Can, was released in 2016; with her follow-up released in June 2019.

“Calling Me Home,” her 2014 ode to her newfound home in the Pacific Northwest, was added to Play Network’s rotation of music used in stores and malls globally, and the song’s music video won the “Audience Choice” award at the Seattle Shorts Film Festival in 2016.

Jessica amped up the rock and gospel influences on her latest Nashville Recording “Warning Label” (2019) once again teaming up with Beaird Music Group. After recently signing with Gregory Talent and Promotion out of Nashville, TN she has extended her reach from a regional to national act. Her 2020 award winning single “Crazy On The Outside” has set the tone for a whole new chapter in Jessica Lynne Witty’s career.

A near-lifelong songwriter who names Merle Haggard, Guy Clark, and Willie Nelson among his main inspirations, Eady got his start performing in local bars at age 14, showing his natural grasp of everything from soul and R&B to blues and country. After independently releasing his debut album From Underneath the Old in 2005, he expanded his touring radius and continued turning out critically praised work, including 2012’s AM Country Heaven, which debuted in the top 40 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Through the years, Eady has also made his name as an unforgettable live performer, sharing stages with the likes of Sturgill Simpson, Band of Heathens, and Reckless Kelly.

John Stevens has been on the local live music scene for over 25 years! John performs a variety of genres including rock, blues, reggae, Americana, and pop.

In a soulful blending of genres, JR Coble etches his place between country, rock, blues, and gospel. That combined with songs he has written about his life experiences, trials and tribulations, love, loss, and redemption creates a remarkable style that everyone loves. He will take you on journeys reaching the soul.

Cooper’s sound has evolved since his first album, which had a Texas country and southern rock feel. Moving forward, he added more funk and R&B influences, earning comparisons to Lenny Kravitz. Jimmy Anderson grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Cash, and AC/DC.  These artists have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. Now, as a well-respected Musician, he aims to offer something different and unique to his fans by creating and sharing original music.

Growing up in Colorado Jimmy began playing guitar at 10 years old and pursuing a career as a professional bull rider until hanging it up in 2014. Music has been his main focus ever since.

Joe Savage resides in Fort Worth and plays mainly around the DFW area.He is the winner of Fort Worth Weekly’s Best C& W Award (2018) and is currently working on a new album titled “El Camino”, a collection of 11 songs written while Joe walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2019.

• Jim has played in a variety of bands including a Rush cover band, an original pop band, an original Irish-folk band, and a variety of multi-genre cover bands. Jim loves a wide variety of music but relates mostly to Rush, Toto, and Journey.

• Andy has been a musician in the North Texas area for decades and has nearly 40 years of musical experience. Working at a local music store for 8 years, he taught music during his high-school and college years. After owning and producing many projects in his commercial recording studio during the mid-’90s, Andy now enjoys composing in his home studio and entertaining live audiences.

• Marty plays with Justin Exit, a classic rock band, and Mr. Hat, a ’90s tribute band. His true passion, however, is jazz. He writes horn arrangements, composes original music and methods for trumpet and band, and owns MRNS Music, a small music publishing business.

Jessie Frye has been releasing music and performing live since 2008. She has toured with artists such as FM-84 and Timecop1983.

Frye has won Best Pop Act in the 2015 & 2016 Dallas Music Awards and 2017 Denton Music Awards. She has steadily built a following while continuing to grow as a diverse songwriter.

John Michael Howell is a 20-year-old recording artist from Dallas, Texas who hops between pop, funk, and gospel genres. He started writing songs at age 7 and sang on his 1st major release when he was 10.

Since taking the plunge into the music business, JB and the guys have seen enough success for JB to realize he’s already accomplished his first set of goals. In just over three years, JB has written a couple of tunes that wound up atop the Billboard Texas music charts and he and the band have recorded and released two acclaimed albums—Ain’t Goin’ Back to Jail and the current Beer for Breakfast on the Average Joes Entertainment label. They’ve also been pounding the road playing shows all over the country.

The combination of the band’s great chemistry and JB’s excellent songwriting gives these East Texas boys instant credibility wherever they play. Whether cranking out no-holds-barred honky-tonk drinking tunes or throttling back to sing about matters of the heart, JB and the Moonshine Band tunes have the ring of truth.

For Jimmie Vaughan, he’s dedicated his life to making sure the blues not only stay alive but remain full of life and an inspiration to all who listen. Joshua Ingram from Fort Worth, Texas is a musical storyteller, guitar stunt man, and breath-taking vocalist.

With a lifetime of creating music Ingram has relentlessly pursued the art of expression and the perfection of his craft.  He started writing songs as a teen and has not stopped.  In his own words “There is always something more to say, play and give to the audience.”

When describing Jamie Wilson’s voice, two aspects come to mind: that honeyed tenor twang that’s become known as one of the sweetest instruments in modern folk music and that poignant, poetic, down-to-earth point of view she brings to her songwriting. The spotlight shines brighter than ever on both with Holidays & Wedding Rings, her May 2015 release. Even fans may be surprised to realize it’s the first full-length solo album from one of the brightest and busiest stars in her recent years amid the folk/Americana/independent country music scene.

An artist of singular talent and restless creativity, she broke into the Texas country/folk scene as one of the co-lead vocalists of the Gougers before the band gradually gave way to not only Wilson’s solo work (the fine EP “Dirty Blonde Hair” was released in 2010) but also higher-profile musical adventures with The Trishas, an all-female singer-songwriter band that has toured through some of the state and nation’s best venues. Scoring one of the best albums of 2012 with “High Wide & Handsome,” the Trishas lit up the genre for a few years while always leaving Wilson room for solo gigs, guest spots on over a dozen albums by now, and song-swaps with like-minded artists all over Texas and beyond.

“We’ve always just wanted to entertain ourselves and put out music that would be a part of people’s lives, not just something passing to them,” says Boland. “We want to be something more monolithic.” He pauses and grins as he adds, “We’re just a social experiment at this point.”

Boland is talking about the deep body of work he’s created with his band of jangly honky-tonk aces, the Stragglers––Grant Tracy on bass; drummer and background vocalist Brad Rice; Nick Worley on fiddle, mandolin, and harmonies; and Cody Angel on guitar and pedal steel. Fronted and co-founded by Boland with Tracy and Rice, the band has featured only a handful of other members over the last 20 years, all of whom––whether they’re currently Stragglers or not––are like brothers. As they’ve independently sold more than half a million albums, the outfit has packed iconic dancehalls, theaters, and other big rooms across the country.

Venson’s “…astonishing mix of raw soul, superb musicianship and laid back grace…” (Austin American Statesman, June 2014) has been compared to the likes of Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse and fellow Austin native Gary Clark, Jr. Originally a classical pianist, Jackie picked up the guitar, shortly after graduating from Berklee College of Music, and made the giant leap from the tradition of classical music to the raw and gritty blues.

This band has hit top charts in the country music world and is continuing to take stages all over the United States with their 2019 tour!

Jennifer Emard Marler is a talented country music singer/songwriter with training in gospel music. She has even opened for Charlie Daniels, Ray Price, the Oak Ridge Boys, Mark Willis, Neil McCoy, and many others! She began writing songs and singing at local opry’s when she was a teen. In 2010 she wrote, “He Was A Soldier” in remembrance of her brother, U.S. Army Spc Jonathan Emard.

Her and her husband, Justin Marler, have also formed a band called Rhythm n’ Roses where they put on a fun, energized show full of covers and originals!

This New Rock band from the Cedar Creek area, who is influenced by Alice in Chains, matchbox 20, and Staind, is coming to Lewisville to perform live!

Jordan Stoltz has been playing guitar for many years and most have been professionally. Jordan enjoys a solo acoustic act performing Rock, Blues, Classical and Alternative music. Jordan writes all of his own music and tends to throw in some cover songs to bring a broader range of music to the audience.

Joey Green has been playing music in DFW since he was young. He has become a household name in North Texas. He has toured and played with National acts such as Eli Young Band, Kevin Fowler, and Randy Rogers and has released 6 albums since his debut. He reached nation-wide on the popular NBC show “The Voice”.

Just South Of Nowhere is a Dallas-based originals band. Their influences range from legends like The Eagles and Tom Petty to 90’s bands like the GinBlossoms and more recently to Red Dirt favorites like the Turnpike Troubadours. The band draws from all of those genres to create its own authentic alternative-country/rock hybrid sound featuring rich melodies, retro 70’s rhythm, and captivating lyrics.

“The Godfather of the British Blues” John Mayall’s legendary music has shaped some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians including Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Mick Taylor, Dave Navarro, Walter Trout and more.

Judy Chamberlain is an eloquent interpreter of The Great American Songbook, music often first heard on Broadway and in the movies during the Golden Age of American popular music. She also loves early rock ‘n roll, mid-century pop, the Beatles and saloon songs.

Justin Ross is a delectable hybrid of rock, soul, roots, blues, swamp rock, texas music, and much more. He has a unique way of delivering a message to his fans; as though they can relate to him with every song he plays.

Ross started his career at age 6 when his mother, Molly Jo, started teaching him how to sing. Now at 35 years old, Ross is still going strong, writing music every chance he gets, and works to be the best musician, writer, and man he can be.

After months of playing shows, working, and attending concerts and festivals together, the group decided that they wanted to really invest in their music. The three played their first show as Jordan Nix & The Day Drinkers in September of 2017. Shortly after, Robert White joined the band to complete the group, and finish the sound the band had been looking for.

Although, all the members have a very different set of influences and musical background, they come together to create a very unique, bold, Americana based sound they refer to as “Rustic Rock”.
