City of Lewisville is celebrating Juneteenth: The Cookout with different events across the City. Inspired by the tradition of gathering to share stories, music, laughter, and joy, this multiday event captures that spirit — no grill required. Experience live music, comedy, poetry, visual arts, and more in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Sounds of Lewisville: VHX with Dani Reed

Sounds of Lewisville started in 1991 as a free summertime family entertainment option at the Vista Ridge Amphitheater. The series eventually moved to Old Town Lewisville, where it continues today.

Concerts take place Tuesdays in May and June, 7-9:30 p.m., concluding with the special Red White & Lewisville fireworks event on Wednesday, July 1. There will be NO CONCERT on Tuesday, June 30. Weekly concerts include performances by two bands, food trucks, Play Lewisville on Wheels activities, bar and vendors. Admission is free, and tickets are not required. Due to lawn seating, blankets and chairs are encouraged.

The Van Halen Experience is designed to give the audience the true Van Halen experience, offering two singers to portray both the Dave and Sammy years, and capturing the essence of a live Van Halen concert. They last performed at Sounds of Lewisville in 2021.

Opening act with Dani Reed

Dani Reed is a powerhouse Texas rock artist blending soulful grit with raw vulnerability. Named the 2025 Female Songwriter of the Year by the Texas State Songwriters Association, she is known for her commanding vocals, fearless stage presence and honest strorytelling. Dani channels classic rock spirit through a modern edge – bringing authenticity, emotion and unapologetic strength to every performance.

Lewisville ColorPalooza: Jay-B and The Zydeco Posse

Lewisville ColorPalooza is designed to showcase the rich cultural, artistic and eco-friendly spirit of Lewisville. Attendees are invited to experience a day of creativity, education, art activities and displays in Old Town Lewisville.

Lewisville ColorPalooza: The Grays

The Grays are a Disney Tribute. A soul-jazz-funk-fusion band created by three sibling musicians who taught themselves music by studying the nostalgic tunes of their childhood. Kierra, KJ, and Kwinton.

The Grays will be performing at ColorPalooza on the Main Stage.
