Sounds of Lewisville: Purple Day – Prince Tribute at Wayne Ferguson Plaza

Purple Day – Prince Tribute makes their Sounds of Lewisville debut as the headliner. The opening act, also making their debut is La Bell.
The popular and FREE “Sounds of Lewisville” concert series returns to Wayne Ferguson Plaza on Tuesday nights in June and July. The concert includes performances by two bands each week. The opening act (La Bell) will take the stage at 7 p.m. followed by the headliner (Purple Day – Prince Tribute) from 8-9:30 p.m.

Purple Day – Prince Tribute (curated by RC & The Gritz) is more of an eclectic super-group than your average hip-hop band. Known by some as Erykah Badu’s band. Founded by Band Leader RC WIlliams in 2004, the group is made up of a diverse mix of musicians from across Texas and whose repertoire includes, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soul Music.
