Reanimate1988

The story you are about to hear is strange, but true. The year was 1988. A local band from Texas was in the middle of their set when they were suddenly abducted by aliens. After enjoying the band perform the hits from Earth, the aliens cryogenically froze the group. The band was finally returned home after decades in space. Their bodies reanimated, but hearts and minds still stuck in 1980’s. And there’s only one thing they know how to do…ROCK!

River Driver

Named after the early log drivers who sang folk ballads while traveling down rivers far from home, River Driver brings new life to traditional folk tunes from Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and Scotland. Their raucous fiddle, dynamic drumming, and electrifying live performances grab audiences from the first note. Whether charging into the crowd mid-song or leaping from table to table in lively pub gigs, fiddler Shelly New and guitarist Michael Logan exude energy that’s impossible to resist—sparking dancing, clapping, singing, and celebratory cheers in their unique barn-dance, rock show experience.

The foursome, completed by bassist Steve Henry and drummer Danny Rasailly, blends a wide range of influences to create a vibrant fusion of sound that captivates listeners of all ages. Their setlist spans from Hank Williams to Guns N’ Roses, weaving bluegrass, Cajun, Texas country, Celtic, and Americana folk into a unique, high-energy tapestry. With creative arrangements, powerhouse vocals, and screaming fiddle solos, River Driver guarantees an unforgettable experience.

River Driver debuted their studio EP, Traces, in 2023, immediately hitting the road to showcase their eclectic influences. From bluegrass-inspired banjo and harmonica solos to searing electric guitar riffs, their performances push genre boundaries while staying rooted in the storytelling tradition of folk music. Following the success of Traces, the band released Flanagan’s Shenanigans: Live at The Celt in 2024, recorded at the world-famous venue in McKinney, Texas. This live album perfectly captures the infectious energy that’s made them a standout favorite at music festivals across the southern U.S.

Red Honey

Red Honey is fronted by Texas singer-songwriter Jordan Barta, with Nicholas Higginbotham on guitar and Ryan Curry holding it down on the drums. Whether you’re a fan of Americana or soulful country, Red Honey offers a memorable musical experience that resonates with authenticity and passion.

Ryan Glenn Band

North Texas singer-songwriter Ryan Glenn’s unique style and sound has been compared to a wide range of music icons, spanning from Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly to Hank Williams and Johnny Cash and even Bob Dylan. One thing is for certain, his live show is an experience that is anything but typical. Blending the best of Rockabilly, Texas Blues and Country, Ryan Glenn & The Honky Tonk Heat offers a variety of musical styles presented with energy and precision. The band’s original approach to classic music has landed them on stages all over Texas from Gruene Hall to the State Fair of Texas, where audiences are surprised to learn that this accomplished entertainer is merely 21 years old.

Ryan released his first LP “Faraway Rose” in April of 2021, produced by Dallas music icon John Pedigo and featuring guest appearances by Joshua Ray Walker, Ken Bethea (Old 97’s), Jaret Reddick (Bowling for Soup), Kevin Geil (Two Tons of Steel) and others.

Currently, Glenn is in production on his second album, with renowned producer Tim Lightyear (Lowdown Drifters, Shane Smith & The Saints) at the helm, scheduled for a later 2025 release.

Runaway June

Proclaimed by Billboard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to The Chicks for a new generation, Runaway June is comprised of Stevie Woodward (lead vocals/guitar/harmonica/piano), Natalie Stovall (vocals/fiddle/guitar), and Jennifer Wayne (vocals/guitar). The trio’s “inescapable talent” (AXS.com) is multiplied by their seamlessly rich, organic harmonies and fiery, western-rooted bluegrass sound. The “Next Women of Country” (CMT) have earned praise from Billboard, Rolling Stone Country, The Huffington Post, Paste, People and more. They’ve made numerous national TV appearances including TODAY, GMA and CMA Country Christmas and have been nominated for ACM Awards and CMT Awards.

Due to their electrifying live show, Runaway June has performed at Stagecoach, C2C Country To Country, and on some of the biggest tours in country music, opening for superstars like Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson and Carrie Underwood. Honored as a coveted “New Face” at the 2020 Country Radio Seminar, the BBR Music Group / Wheelhouse Records trio’s Top 5 single, “Buy My Own Drinks” was the highest charting song by a female group since The Chicks in 2003. Their debut album Blue Roses (2019) received critical acclaim and was included on Rolling Stone’s and Paste Magazine’s best albums of the year lists. Most recently on tour with Luke Bryan’s 2021 Proud To Be Right Here Tour, the award-nominated trio’s bright, rootsy new EP, backstory, is out now.

Raina Wallace

With her powerfully sultry voice and eclectic styling, Raina Wallace cultivates a listening experience like no other. Self described as if “Dolly Parton grew up listening to The Clash” her music is as unique and dynamic as she is. Finding her roots in Northern California, but eventually making her way to Montana, Wallace is truly a voice of the old-time west.

Having previously spent the last 10 years in the Montana mountains, the singer/songwriter now calls Texas home with her dog, Willie Nelson Mandela. In addition to her blossoming solo career, she actively tours with band, The Lowdown Drifters, as their bass player.

They are a duo performing blues and classic rock covers and original music!

Ricco Agogo

At an early age Ricardo had an affinity for rhythm. A gifted percussionist he would on a daily basis drum out patterns on mother’s cookware.

However, the guitar soon came into the picture and he began to learn this new instrument at age
eleven.

After High School graduation he went off to College where he began formal classical guitar studies under Dan Hodan and played saxophone in the Jazz lab band under the direction of Roger Dismore.

Furthermore, he studied classical guitar with Christopher Mcquire currently the Artistic director for the Dallas Ft. Worth Classical Guitar Society.

Rachel Stacy

Rachel Stacy can share stories about the road she’s travelled to get where she is today that would scare an outlaw straight or the stars right out of the eyes of the most optimistic young dreamer even contemplating a life in music. But believe her when she says that’s not her M-O. At this exciting point in her life and career, she’s far more interested in looking to the future — and using her music and voice as a beacon of hope rather than dwelling on the past.

“My goal now is to try to inspire other people — especially women — to continue in their endeavors with music and art. My mission is all about wanting to be a good example: not just for younger artists just starting, but for ones at that age — my age —where society might be telling them, ‘You’re too old for this, you need to quit.’ Because no, you don’t.”

Stacy herself is living proof of this, but her own go-to example is none other than the living legend with whom she had the good fortune of working with during the writing and recording of her newest batch of songs: Texas/Americana icon Ray Wylie Hubbard. The wizened and widely revered “Wylie Lama,” who didn’t even begin to embark on the most rewarding phase of his career until finding sobriety at age 40 — 20 years after writing the immortal outlaw country anthem “Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mother” — met Stacy early on in her own recovery and encouraged her to stay the course and to keep faith in her artistic purpose. That path eventually led to their rendezvous a decade later at the Zone Recording Studio, just outside of Dripping Springs, Texas, in the late summer of 2021 to track the best songs of Stacy’s career to date: “The Ghost of Lishe Jackson,” “Take a Little Time,” “Trouble,” and “The Night.”

Five words sum him up: ear candy for the soul.

Ruthie Foster

Ruthie Foster’s musical journey is as eclectic and vibrant as her soulful voice. Born into a family steeped in gospel tradition, Ruthie’s earliest influences were the voices of her mother, grandmother, and the gospel singers she grew up listening to — artists like the Gospel Keynotes and the Blind Boys of Alabama. However, her path to becoming a solo artist wasn’t a straightforward one. Despite a deep love for music, Ruthie initially shied away from the spotlight, preferring to play guitar, piano, and write songs for others.

Growing up in the rich musical tapestry of Gause, Texas, Ruthie found herself drawn to the diverse sounds and arrangements of local gospel choirs and musicians. Despite her reluctance to take center stage, Ruthie’s talent was undeniable, and her mother encouraged her to step up and sing out. She stood out as a young black girl with a guitar in a choir scene dominated by pianos, but with her grandmother’s vocal coaching and encouragement from her mother and the church community, she recognized her own power — as a songwriter, a musician, and as a captivating singer.

After studying music at a community college in Waco, Ruthie decided to take a break from music and enlist in the Navy. The stage drew her once more, and she was selected to sing for the Navy band Pride, where she honed her skills as a vocalist and performer. A development deal with Atlantic Records led her to New York City, where she immersed herself in the songwriting community and learned the craft of writing songs that spoke to the soul.

However, Ruthie’s journey took a turn when her mother fell ill, prompting her to step back from music and return to Texas once again. It was a period of introspection, caregiving, and deep bonding with her mother, and upon her return to writing and performing, it was to shape her voice as a singer-songwriter and storyteller. Drawing on her experiences and her musical roots, she began to craft blues, folk, and gospel-tinged songs that spoke to the universal themes of love, loss, and resilience.

Turning down a major record deal in pursuit of authenticity, she has stayed true to herself and her vision as an artist, signing with independent label Blue Corn Music to release Runaway Soul in 2002, followed by The Phenomenal Ruthie Foster in 2007, The Truth According to Ruthie Foster in 2009, Let It Burn in 2012, Promise of a Brand New Day in 2014, Joy Comes Back in 2017, and Healing Time in 2022. She has also released three live albums, Stages in 2004, Live At Antone’s in 2011, and 2020’s Live at the Paramount.

Now, with five GRAMMY® nominations to her name, Ruthie Foster has achieved a long-awaited milestone: her very first GRAMMY® win. Her latest album, Mileage, released on the legendary Sun Records, won Best Contemporary Blues Album at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards® — a triumph not only for Foster, but also a historic first-ever GRAMMY® win for Sun Records. The recognition underscores the power of Foster’s artistry and the enduring legacy of a label that continues to champion timeless voices. With soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and unwavering commitment to her craft, Foster continues to carve out a path that is uniquely her own — inspiring audiences and fellow musicians alike.

This is our livelihood. It’s how we take care of our families. Years ago, when we were really struggling and wondering how we were going to make it, there were some deep and emotional conversations that we all had with each other about if this is really what we all wanted, and the decision was made a long time ago.
