Bach and the Future at Lewisville Civic Corale

Bach and the Future – A concert of Bach’s music along with new music inspired by the greatest of composers. Collaboration with the Irving Chorale.

Lewisville Civic Chorale and the Irving Chorale will explore the influence J.S. Bach had on music then and now, From Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, and more!

The performance will be Saturday, March 1, at 3 p.m., Lewisville High School Stuver Auditorium, 1098 W Main St.

All proceeds will benefit the Lewisville Civic Chorale.

Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra

As part of the Lewisville Centennial Celebration come experience the Peacherine Ragtime Orchestra Society’s live orchestra performance to the score of the film, The Freshman (1925) starring Harold Lloyd. The Freshman is a classic “college comedy” of the 1920s portraying Harold Lloyd as he enrolls at Tate University for this hilarious telling of university life, sports, and more. The evening will include this feature length silent comedy and include several stand-alone ragtime and early jazz pieces.
