Sounds of Lewisville: Pride in the Name of U2 with Home & Away
Sounds of Lewisville started in 1991 as a free summertime family entertainment option at the Vista Ridge Amphitheater. The series eventually moved to Old Town Lewisville, where it continues today.
Concerts take place Tuesdays in May and June, 7-9:30 p.m., concluding with the special Red White & Lewisville fireworks event on Wednesday, July 1. There will be NO CONCERT on Tuesday, June 30. Weekly concerts include performances by two bands, food trucks, Play Lewisville on Wheels activities, bar and vendors. Admission is free, and tickets are not required. Due to lawn seating, blankets and chairs are encouraged.

Home & Away is a Dallas-based power alt-rock trio weaving songs across the emotional spectrum – wonder, introspection, desire, excitement and anger. Their sound blends Nox’ shimmering, experimental guitar work and shifting meters, Lex’s precise, heavy-handed, syncopated drums, and Galvis’ entrancing bass grooves and catchy vocal hooks.
