Sounds of Lewisville: The Chicago Xperience with Jessica Maeve
Headliner: The Chicago Experience
About the Artists:
Jessica Maeve is a singer songwriter and ‘ukulele artist. She loves to take songs to the next level as a solo performer by incorporating her own flair into each arrangement. Whether it’s a classical piece or oldies tune or rock to modern pop, her style of playing is unique so you’re always in for a treat! Audiences are always surprised by what she can perform on her instrument while singing. She’s a one-woman show and occasionally likes to enhance performances with hula dancing and her band.
Recently, she won 1st place in the International ‘Ukulele Contest in the Solo Vocal category and received a beautiful Kanile’a tenor ‘ukulele. She received her degree in music education from BYU – Idaho and taught students how to sing and read music in the choirs she directed. She performs locally and runs her own music studio for ‘ukulele, but is not limited to just singing and playing the uke! She loves to play piano, guitar, and violin. She grew up singing with her family and at school and playing violin in the orchestras at school. Jessica Maeve enjoys playing in bands and other ensembles when she’s not soloing. She’s a seasoned musician and loves to connect with her audience members through her talents.
